NIE Number Procurement Service Back to Normal

We have received today news that the local police stations are gain accepting power of attorneys for the submission of NIE applications on behalf of third parties, and therefore we are able to continue providing the NIE procurement service to our customers.
A few months ago we had to cease providing our service when all police stations around Spain stopped accepting power of attorneys for the application of NIE numbers. Fortunately the authorities have now changed their minds, after the numerous complaints lodged by affected parties denouncing how this measure that was hurting the local economy.

I am living in the USA and not in Spain. However, I have a bank account in Spain and I get paid part of my commissions in Euros to my bank there. I need a NIE number for my bank. How long will this process take if I start it today and see a Notary Public here in USA?
From the moment we receive at our office your notarised and legalised power of attorney and passport copies, your NIE Number will be ready in a period of two weeks. If you need it urgently let us know, as we can try obtaining it in one week.
